Zoo

We had yet another fun filled weekend - the girls (and the grownups) took their first trip to the zoo! We went to the Franklin Park Zoo, which for being in the middle of Boston was pretty impressive.

First stop: lunch! Wanna bite?

Giddy up!

I just like this picture. What you lookin' at?

The girls' favorites!!

Two times on the carousel! Notice Riley on the giraffe, 'cause that was her favorite.

Riley cooling off (and showing off) at home later:

Hula Girls Part 2

Ok, only a month or so behind still. Here's a video of the girls doing the hula in their hula girl outfits when we got home from Hawaii.

And I guess I forgot to do a real Hawaii post altogether! So here's a slide show of our photos, with some of Kristina's mixed in because hers were way better than mine. To refresh your memory, we were fortunate enough to go for the first week in May to celebrate Garin and Christina's wedding. Josh & Kristina and Larry & Andrea were there for the week too. Ahhh, Hawaii. It's kind of nice looking at this a month later.

When She Grows Up, She'll be a Smarty Pants

After reading a book called "When I Grow Up":
Me: Riley, what are you going to be when you grow up?
    Riley: Bigger!

A Hot Father's Day

We spent a very hot day in Boston, hitting up the carousel, the aquarium and having a little lunch with Grandpa Tom. The girls have been anxiously awaiting this "adventure" for the last 2 days.

Hailey patiently waiting to ride the carousel while I get sunscreen on her sister:

Weeee!

And playing a silly hand game with Grandpa:

Happy Father's Day Chris, Grandpa Tom & Grandpa Scott!

Weekend

Saturday, in lieu of the yard sale we were supposed to have (cancelled due to the completely non existent rain) we had a BBQ with Josh, Kristina, Grandma Susan, Grandpa Tom and Arlinda.

Grandma Susan "scored" a great deal at a yard sale on this little basketball hoop, which was a big hit!

Riley looks a lot taller than Hailey here. She is taller, but not this much! It is exaggerated by the slant in the yard.

Out to dinner:

Riley and Arlinda sharing a laugh:

Hailey:

I'll do a Hawaii post some day. I also have a ton of videos of the kids I have to sort through. Sometimes this blogging thing is just hard work.
