Lanterns

Chris went to a former co-worker's wedding a few weekends ago (in the midst of moving, so I opted out), and they had these cool "floating" lanterns that they gave out.  We lit them later with the girls.  Don't worry, they're made of corn or something so they're safe for the environment.  You just light them, they float away a couple dozen miles, burn out and float back down.  They were pretty cool.

New House

I got a little crap this weekend for being behind on the blog.  Blah blah blah.

So, we moved on May 30th.  Since we kind of like the area, we moved literally less than a mile down the street, same road.  We'd been renting the house we'd been in for almost 2 years, and our landlord decided to sell it.  The "new" house was built in 1825, very different from the last one!  We're on the same road but we're on the opposite side of the street with a more limited view, so I won't have to bore you with all those annoying sunset pictures anymore.  We are happy to have a much bigger bathroom and a bigger yard to play in though!

Still plenty of room for visitors - come on up!

Baby Zachary

This past weekend we took a very quick multi-purpose trip to Massachusetts.  In addition to seeing Grandpas Tom & Scott for Father's Day and visiting Auntie Sandy & cousins, we met a brand new friend Saturday - 1 month old baby Zachary!  Congratulations Josh and Kristina!

Later on, back at Auntie Sandy's house.  Riley ready for dip!
Go Riley go!
Hailey was more interested in playing princess dress up than
swimming (I don't blame her, it was cold out).
Happy belated Father's Day to the grandpas and daddy, and the new daddy Josh!

Burlington Bears its Art

Two years ago, it was cows.  Now the bears have taken over Church Street!  (Coincidentally, proceeds from the auction in the fall go to the organization I work for, COTS!)

Hikers

We've been doing a lot of hiking this summer, and loving it!
