Back to Posting

My apologies, 2011 is not off to a good start for pictures. I've had a head cold since about Christmas; I finally went to the doctor yesterday and I have an ear infection. Bah. I haven't been all that productive in general as of late. But I'm on the mend, finally.

2011 does find our perfect little girls, well, still perfect. They had their 3 year check up the first week in January, and even had their first trip to the dentist today. I never thought 2 little girls in a dentist chair could be so cute, and they absolutely loved the visit. Both doctor and dentist told us all to keep up the good work!

And just one picture today, the girls goofing around on the step stool in the kitchen. In case you're wondering, Riley is sporting a wonderful cheerleader-dress-up-outfit-over-regular-clothes combo.

Happy Belated New Year!

Shortly after our 6 day trip to MA for Christmas, Grandpa Tom and Grandma Susan came to visit for three days over New Year's weekend. Hailey & Riley spent the majority of the time running around the house screaming, I mean playing hide-and-seek with Grandma Susan. They wouldn't let poor Grandma do anything else. She definitely got her exercise with these two.

We also tested out some new cookie cutters, kids' cookbook, and aprons that the girls got for Christmas/birthday by making a big batch of cookies. Riley bugged me for 2 days straight before we had time to do it (and it turned into an all day project between the dough making, cutting, cooking and decorating, with a little outside playtime, naps and meals thrown in).

Who knew cookies were so much fun!? Riley did.

Hailey too:

Before all of our snow melted, the girls built a snow man family (with help). There are four little ones, the girls are standing behind the mommy and daddy, there's a mini Hailey & Riley just to the left and the giant out of proportion snowman is Grandpa. He is pretty tall, so maybe it's not that far out of proportion.

Here we are shortly after midnight! They offered to babysit so Chris and I could go out, but I was feeling pretty crappy and decided to stay in. But we still had fun!

Happy New Year!

Here are some of my recent favorites.

I love the little moon.

Yeah, yeah, I know you're just waiting for more pictures of little girls. But it's my blog so too bad. :)
