Answer
The girls switched colors on me. Getting them dressed in the morning, Hailey said to Riley, "do you want to change colors today, Riley?" Which they thought was the funniest thing ever. I did ok, though I still called them the wrong name a few times (which I do anyway). It's really a weird psychological thing; I know who is who regardless of color shirt, I know they've switched, yet I'm just so used to seeing them in certain colors. Luckily it only lasted til lunchtime when Riley made such a big mess she needed a new shirt, and they both decided it was time to change back!

I might need to brush her hair before her career can really take off.
We had a very Vermont weekend, it included visiting Shelburne Farm (in the winter!), cross country skiing (Chris only), and trudging through knee deep (for adults, waist deep for kids) snow to play in the neighbor's backyard. The girls really got into sledding yesterday too, which until now has been more fun for the adults than the kids. We have a kind of scary but really fun hill in our backyard. The girls are only allowed about 1/4 of the way down before we stop them. Partially because of the scary factor, but mostly because I'm not carrying them back up the hill! Yesterday I could hardly make it back up myself!

Mickey Much?
It's no secret that a few preschoolers in this household are completely obsessed with Mickey Mouse. The rare times (haha) they watch TV, it's ALWAYS Mickey. (I'm working on broadening their horizons to other educational shows!)
Well, this weekend just happened to be Mickey-filled. First, Mickey was hanging out at the Burlington Winter Festival and Kid's Festival (or Winter Vegetable as Hailey called it). Then yesterday we built a Snow Mickey in the backyard!

Hailey's New Trick
Yep, Hailey can cross her eyes, usually when having a fit of silliness. Creepy, I know. But she thinks it's a riot, even though she can't really do it on command. (It took a lot of photos to actually capture it.)
