Elmore State Park

This year's camping trip was at Elmore State Park for 3 nights.  Each year camping with the girls gets a little easier and a lot better!  We went for a long hike, a bunch of bike rides, a canoe ride, caught some (teensy tiny) fish and did the s'mores thing of course.  (This year we also crammed a bunch of gooey treats inside ice cream cones and heated them in foil on the fire...gotta say, I liked it better than s'mores!)  It was gray and drizzly when we arrived but the rest of the time the weather was beautiful.  Just a bit cool and breezy for swimming, but great for everything else!  Here are some of my favorite pictures, though it was hard to choose.  (The rest can be found here.)

Another 1st Birthday

Mansfield is a year old!  He's such a good kitty, and patiently puts up with so much.  I've finally admitted that I'm happy Chris conned us into adopting him.  He's a good substitute for the dog we'll never get (girls are allergic), mostly because he thinks he's a dog.

Poor cat.  Yes, we put a party hat on him.  He was not happy. 

Boston in May

I have a little catching up to do!  We were in Boston on Mother's Day weekend to celebrate one handsome little man's first birthday: Baby Zachary!  We got to spend a little time downtown, took the girls to a few old haunts (including a drive by the old house) and of course enjoyed Zachary's birthday.  Kristina does know how to throw a party!
