Working on the feelings...

Hailey, that's not exactly what I said...but close.  Not sure it worked, this time.

Way belated birthday celebration

The kid birthday party at Christmastime isn't always the easiest thing to pull off.  We asked the girls in lieu of a party this year, wouldn't it be fun to go to a movie and out to dinner?  So they each invited a friend and we made good on that promise...3 months later.

high top table next to them.  This was awesome.)

One more Riley

I forgot about this picture!  Back in February I made two trips to Riley's classroom.  One was for a lesson on homelessness and poverty, and these kids just blew me away with their insights and compassion.  Then the following week, which was right before Valentine's Day, I went back and helped the class bake 18 mini-loaves of raspberry-orange bread and make Valentines, which I then delivered to all of COTS homeless shelters.  What an experience for these kids!

All Riley Post

Back in October, I gave you an all Hailey post, so here's Riley's!  Of course, the first picture is of Hailey, but she's eating a Chef Riley original - tomato, cheese and avocado omelet! (Which was delicious.)

Cancun 2015

We left negative temps to come home to 20's and 30's, not a bad deal!  40's next week - that's what we were hoping for.  In the meantime we were in 80 degree temps for 8 days and had a blast!
