Kids Day

I know, isn't every day kids day?  Anyway, last weekend we marched in the Kids Day parade in Burlington with my local au pair group (for which I am coordinator) and the girls had a blast!  They especially loved throwing candy to the parade watchers, which was hysterical (they either went right up to them and put it next to them, or missed by a lot).  Afterwards we hung out at the Kids Day celebration in the park.

COTS Walk 2012

On Sunday we participated in the annual COTS Walk in Burlington.  I happen to work for COTS but I also happen to believe it's a good cause!  And I managed to raise $600 - no small feat when the majority of the people who donated don't even live in Vermont.  (It's not too late to donate by the way!)

Anyway, it was a blast and even though it was supposed to be nap time, the girls loved it.  And I think they kind of get what it's all about.  It's a good start, anyway, in teaching them an important lesson.  But next year, no wagon for those lazy bums!

Cancun Videos

Ok, I'm all caught up on posts! Here are the awesome swimming videos from Cancun. They're all really short. Watch the one of Hailey - that's how Riley started the week. By the end, she was swimmy and noodle free, and jumped and swam on her own. Hailey wouldn't take off her protective gear, but we still couldn't get either of them out of the pool!
