The girls and I just got home yesterday from 5 great days in MA where we did a lot of fun and "first" things - like waterslides! and jumping off diving boards! - and it's all been long forgotten...thanks to our current house guest!  We are kitten-sitting Mansfield (named for Mt. Mansfield, the highest mountain in Vermont) for the next 9 days while his owners, our friends Ethan & Meaghan, are on vacation.  They don't want to leave him home alone with their other older cat, who has not taken a liking to Mansfield.  Hailey & Riley certainly have.

Maritime Festival

Two weekends ago we took Grandpa Tom & Grandma Susan to the Lake Champlain Maritime Festival.  Grandpa had to go back on his own to actually see the boats, we just did the kid stuff!

I love pictures of the girls dancing.  And they love to dance, so it's a good combination!

Cheese Festival

Ok, so we told the girls it was a cheese festival, but it was really a beer, wine and cheese festival!  The music was good too.  Once again I can't take credit for these pictures.  That would go to the little blonde girl's dad, or the cream filling in the Hailey-Riley oreo cookie.  (And I may not ever take another picture if Jeff keeps this up.  He's pretty good.)
