Another 1st Birthday

Mansfield is a year old!  He's such a good kitty, and patiently puts up with so much.  I've finally admitted that I'm happy Chris conned us into adopting him.  He's a good substitute for the dog we'll never get (girls are allergic), mostly because he thinks he's a dog.

Poor cat.  Yes, we put a party hat on him.  He was not happy. 

Boston in May

I have a little catching up to do!  We were in Boston on Mother's Day weekend to celebrate one handsome little man's first birthday: Baby Zachary!  We got to spend a little time downtown, took the girls to a few old haunts (including a drive by the old house) and of course enjoyed Zachary's birthday.  Kristina does know how to throw a party!

Hike

These hiking pictures are from the weekend before last, when Hailey was having a slight repreive from what turned out to be a 5 day illness.  We swear we thought she was better!  We ended up with 8 days of kid illness, with one or both of them staying home on 5 school days.  Normally our kids are so synched up they even, well, do a lot of things within minutes of each other.  So it was a little weird for us to have them stagger their illnesses.  But both girls got some much needed alone time away from sister!  And Hailey, who was very nervous about going to daycare without her sister, decided she'd just find herself a boyfriend.  It seems like the relationship has cooled a little already though.  Phew.

Spring has FINALLY Sprung!

These were taken yesterday, a beautiful 70 degree day, our first it seems, since spring was taking a while to break through up here.  It was also right before Hailey got stomach bug #2 in 2 months; so much for enjoying that weather!
