Just another Wednesday in the NICU

Hailey in a crib!

Hailey's new hat

Dad changing a terrified Riley's shirt

What up? Riley's new outfit

This evening's visit to the NICU was quite eventful. Although Hailey's feeding tube is back in (she's not quite ready to eat all day on her own without falling asleep) she was moved to a regular crib and out of the incubator. Riley will soon follow. We also brought in some of their own clothes, which makes things feel more homey. It was fun to watch dad struggle to get Riley's arms in the shirt, but I'm sure he'll pick that up just as fast as diaper changing.

P.S. The girls are now 2 weeks old! And they're doing pretty darn good considering they're still about 4 1/2 weeks away from their due date!

Hi Stacey & Chris,

Thanks for keeping us all updated! Great news about Hailey's big move to a crib and they both look quite fashionable in their own clothes :) Hoping to see you all soon.

Love the new outfits! What did we do before computers, the internet and blogs? It's great to see how they are doing, especialy when we can't be there.

Chris, you look like you've done this forever. I keep showing Abby the size of the twins' hands next to the grownups. It is a bit amazing how little they are. Hailey I'm sorry you couldn't keep that tube out, soon I'm sure. Riley you're looking good. Stacey I hope you stay well and out of the hospital! Love Karen
