Need More Cornbread

The girls added cornbread to their list of favorite foods (which includes yogurt, zweiback toast and apple crisp finger foods) this weekend. We all went out for dinner Saturday with our friends Josh and Kristina to a new BBQ place in Brookline called the Roadhouse. They were both very happy to be out and seemed to have fun for the full 2 1/2 hours we were there. Hailey flirted with Josh the whole time, even though he tried to feed her jalapeno cornbread. Maybe next time they will get to try the ribs.

Check out the awesome high chair covers that Grandma Gerry gave us. We use them in the grocery carts too. They make very disgusting public high chairs nice and cozy.

The girls are interacting with each other much more these days. They have started laughing at each other too. Maybe someday I'll be able to catch them to take a picture before they get distracted and want to eat the camera.

Riley is about ready to take off in these last couple of pictures. She hasn't done much more than rock back and forth on her hands and knees and plop onto her belly.

And pull herself onto her knees!

Don't fear, Hailey is just as mobile, just in a different way. She has mastered the backwards scoot on her belly, but you can't capture that in a picture because it looks the same as laying on her belly.

I know, that picture of Riley up on her knees kills me. I love it and hate it. I'm already mourning the end of their babyhood.
