Big day for the Sheehans! Two started kindergarten and one started (teaching) 8th grade! Everyone had a great day, mommy didn't cry too much and we're all looking forward to day 2. Riley's only complaint - Kindergarten isn't long enough! Our Kindergarten is only half day for the first half of the year and full day the 2nd half (yeah, it's weird and unusual in our area). The girls will be going to an after school program run by their daycare and with all their same daycare friends (including Hailey's boyfriend), so that makes the transition easier too. They are enjoying comparing notes about their separate classrooms too.
Chris had fun too and is wondering a bit what he got into. But he's just as excited to go back tomorrow!
I told Hailey over dinner, "I think you had a good day today." She said (with her sly Hailey smile), "How did you know? I had a GREAT day!" "Because you haven't stopped smiling since I picked you up!!"
