'Tis the season, of parent teacher conferences...
Hailey was told to write a descriptive sentence of the above picture (also original artwork). The teacher told me that she had to modify her lesson plan for the class based on the fact that Hailey wrote a descriptive TWO PAGES, as follows (spelling "mistakes" as written by author):
"A beautyful blue jay sits on a ice covered tree. A still green evergreen tree sits silently in the crispy white snow. A brown log sits in the silent white snow. Snowflakes fly in the coloful blue sky. The camafloged snoshoe hare inches closer and closer to a tasty weed feast. The beautyful orange fox hears a tiny mouse and dives straght for it. The beautyful while snowy owl waits for a mouse to move under the beautyful white snow."
For the 100th day of school, Riley made the above portrait and had to finish the sentence "When I am 100 years old..." She wrote about 4 times more than the rest of her classmates (again, spelling "mistakes" as written by author):
"...I will have glasses like my mom. I will still love owls. I will get a cat and try too be very healthy. I will be retiered so I can read every day. I will make my own choices and try to enjoy myself. Everyday I will go out and say my pray's. I will be healthy and strong I will go back to college to lern more."
Proud mommy & daddy, to say the least!
