Purple Mountains and other randomness

Another cool sunset. This one was crazy, you can't tell it from the picture but the sky went from kinda normal to a fiery red very quickly. I wasn't looking directly at it but it happened so fast it caught my eye while I was doing something else.

I've been hanging on to this picture for a while, but I felt I should post it because I thought it was a very cool, accidentally artsy shot of our chandelier taken by Grandpa Tom. He was trying to get a good shot of the shape of the globes because we have a broken one (notice the back one missing) and we are having a hard time finding a replacement. Anyway, I'm kind of obsessed with this picture. Who knew my dad was so artistic? ;)
