The girls now have three teeth between them. Hailey finally decided to catch up with her sister and her first tooth popped up today. It seemed like forever that she was trying to push it through. Karri Reid was right when it came to Riley - the teeth came in two, so we expect a neighbor for Hailey's new tooth soon.
Over the weekend we strapped the girls into their Baby Bjorns and went for a walk through the
Arnold Arboretum which is the country's oldest arboretum. It's a popular spot near our house for lovers of plants of all kinds. We've been meaning to go for a long time but didn't get around to it until last weekend.

You can tell that Riley was pretty excited by it all:

So anyone that reads this blog with any sort of regularity is familiar with Erin, our Nanny. One day Erin took the girls to meet some of her family. Among the new friends for the girls was Erin's 6 year old cousin Meghan. She was apparently completely in love with the girls. After they left, she went up into her room to play. A short while later she asked her mom for some wrapping paper. She then came down with something wrapped in the paper that she said was a present for the twins. Meghan's mom dutifully passed the present on to Erin who gave it to Hailey and Riley. Nobody had looked inside to see what Meghan put in the wrapping paper. Turns out that Meghan wrapped up one of her own toys to give to the babies. And what you and I may see as a rather old and somewhat worn Teletubby, was undoubtedly a prized possession to Meghan...judging by its use. So thank you Meghan - the girls appreciate it!
